Toupee can be easily washed wearing it or not, below we give you some indications.

Washing instructions wearing the toupee:

• Apply a neutral shampoo (we recommend "Shampoo P.E.+S") and make foam massaging the hair gently
• Rinse well and if you consider it worthwhile repeat a second time the shampoo
• To keep the toupee bright and soft we suggest you to apply a gentle hair conditioner for treated hair on the lengths (in the section Accessories you find for example "Conditioner P.E.+C"), brush hair delicately with a a large-tooth comb
• Let the conditioner act for 5/6 minutes
• Rinse well
• Dab with a towel gently in order to remove water in excess without rub
• Dry it with hair dryer giving the desired set

Washing instructions not wearing the toupee (recommended at least 1 time every month as this allow a deeper cleaning):

• Before you wash the toupee brush it with a large-tooth comb with gentleness
• Wet it gently with TEPID water, holding it with a hand within the cap, using a shower head if available
• Apply a neutral shampoo (we suggest "Shampoo P.E.+S") and brush gently WITHOUT TANGLE THE HAIR
• After that rinse well with TEPID water without wringing out, continuing to brush it with a  large-tooth comb
• Repeat washing and rinsing a second time proceeding as above described
• To keep the toupee bright and soft we suggest you to apply a gentle hair conditioner for treated hair on the lengths (in the section Accessories you find for example "Conditioner P.E.+C") continuing brush hair delicately
• Let the conditioner act for 5/6 minutes
• After that rinse well with TEPID water without wring out, continuing brush the hair
• Wrap the toupee in a soft towel dabbing it gently in order to remove water in excess without rub
• Concerning toupee's drying you can proceed in two ways: let it dry at the air at room-temperature leaning it on a polystyrene head, or you can dry it with hair-drier giving him the desired set. It is possible to use hair gel or fixative products that help to protect the hair and to maintain hair set, on condition that they are not aggressive and do not contain alcohol

Attention:

DON'T use the hair-drier with the maximum temperature and DON'T keep it too close to the internal cap because you risk to sear it and avoid compromising the gloss and the softness of the hair. We advice you against using hair straightener, curling irons, hot rollers or any other instrument which use heat as elevated temperature risks to compromise hair quality.
Brush the toupee with a large-tooth comb always with maximum gentleness, to avoid to slacken hair knot. You can use hair products in minimum quantity. In any case we advice against applying hair spray or hair mousse or other products that contain gas, alcohol or other aggressive ingredients.

Using double-sided tape:

• Wash well the skin and dry it perfectly
• Apply small pieces of tape on the cap of the toupee
• Remove the adhesive paper above the tape and couple to the skin in ideal position
• Proceed with cut and style (we suggest to make a layered cut that creates uniformity between own hair and those of the toupee)

Using Liquid Adhesive:

• Wash well the skin and dry it perfectly 
• Put a small quantity of liquid adhesive on the polyurethane stripe that is on the toupee and on the skin in the point where it will be positioned  
• Wait 30 seconds and then couple the prosthesis in the ideal position
• Proceed with cut and set (we suggest to make a layered cut that gives uniformity between own hair and those of the toupee)
